METEOSAT 8 (IT)

Ultime immagine del satellite geostazionario METEOSAT 8.
La strumentazione satellitare comprende telerilevatori ottici passivi ovvero telecamere, macchine fotografiche e telescopi ottici tutti con ripresa selettiva in varie lunghezze d’onda che permettono di rilevare, tra altro, il vapore acqueo anche nell’alta atmosfera. Ci sono poi telerilevatori attivi basati su tecnologia laser e radaristica e i telerilevatori passivi cioè radiometri a infrarosso e microonde.
